Artist Statement:

Photography is my poetry with light and time.

 
 

Bio:

Yoshiko Mukai is a fine art/street photographer based in NYC. She was born and raised in Osaka, Japan.

She uses digital cameras and creates the images digitally. Although her styles of expressions are often painterly or surrealistic, she stays true to traditional darkroom processes and retouching techniques.

Her works are included in corporate/private collections in the US and Japan.
